on the 7th day, exactly midnight. I finally received news from him.

i stayed up as long as i could because i was afraid that the internet will be disrupted there again and i will not be able to get a hold of him. it has been a torture to not know if he was all right.

i tweeted : "I stand where he stands".

since im a Bruneian, it does not matter much if im a pro or anti Mubarak. I only knew about his existence last sunday. so i am in no position to side with either one. but i am with him. if he supports and for Mubarak, so will i. there's pros and cons with both anyways.

listening to one of the protestors in tahrir : Salma. ive been following what is going on around her since the clash broke out. she is very passionate and very concerned about people around her.

so far, in my opinion, there are 3 parties in egypt, the Mubarak supporters, the anti-Mubarak regime and those who are at home and not physically participating in the demonstration. if its possible, i hope to be able to get the opinions of these ppl from the news soon. so far, it has been focussed mostly in tahrir and on the clash. indeed it is important to document every second of this historical event, but we have to remember, the world needs to know the story of EVERY EGYTPTION physically participating and those that are not. everyone in that country is affected by this. we all know that.

everyone is hurting everyone involved in tahrir, cairo.

all i need to know is that he is all right and far away from the centre of these violent clashes. all i hope for now is that no danger comes to him and his circle of family and friends. he has been staying awake pass curfew, protecting his family properties with swords and knives. just the thing im fearing for.
