i just wanted to post up my frustration tonight. South korea lost to Uruguay in the 2010 World Cup tonight. They were so close. SO CLOSE. Japan is my last hope for ASIAN. They have got to go further.
on another note, this years' world cup has change AMERICA. We all know that 'football' or what they like to call 'soccer' is never a USA game. America prob list down our football as one of the least fav sport in the country. There was this one movie i watched, i forgot what exactly, ranked football the lowest, as compared to the fav. American sports ' American Football, baseball, basketball. So okay, so ever since the US team won as the first in their world cup group, and England followed closely behing * i KNOw! i still cannot believe this!! * Americans have started to view 'football' differently. just a few hours ago when i was watching Korea struggle to get a goal during first half against uruguay that my sister told me elliot yamin tweeted about getting use to football. and Jason castro says 'football' instead of 'soccer'. improvements i shall say. though, i do hope Korea calls football, 'football' as well rather than 'cuku' which is actually 'soccer' i believe. do correct me if im wrong.
so what exactly am i trying to say here? besides the fact that im totaly bump that korea couldnt advance further. oh yes, football world cup 2010 has change AMERICAN view of FOOTBALL!!
but seriously, i cannot get pass the fact that ENgland is the second in the group and America's first. SERIOUSLY!
