i had awake-nightmares ever since last week's terrible discussion in prof. walkers' class...
i thought about how today will be one of the worst days ive ever had in UBD....
i thought that my tummy was going to growl and humiliate me for a bad 20minutes because im fasting at last! *yay!
i thought that i was going to suck in my borneo class presentation....
i thought i was going to receive more bad 'comments' and 'words' in anthropologists class...
BUT
none of those things i thought would happen.. happened!
i found the secret to reading courses - read important key points, and because discussion class will end as soon as you have nothing else to disscuss, all you have to do is found a common pattern in all readings, and highlight them and mention them during the session - your lecturer is bound to provide more info on that particular highlighted issue... before you know it, one hour and a half is up and you'll be thanking your lecturer and off you go... you do not have to look at every single point as important and must-be-mentioned...
this will be my new technique for the next sets of readings...
almost everyday since my brother went off to work have I been 'killing two birds with one stone' - i do my online routine, and at the same time, i work on my readings, presentations and discussion materials... aka as can be seen below...
i almost forgot! the most amazing thing is - i found out today that I need not waste my time re-writing the words in my notebook at all! i work on the readings much faster w/o re-writing them. Because initially i thought that by writing notes on the readings, i may remember them more and thus id be able to talk in discussions because i could refer to them easier instead of going through the whole readings again.. but it turns out i didnt even have the time to look at the notes i took to help me discuss better... it proves to be useless... but i would argue at myself back that.. during exam time - i would prob panic if i do not have them notes...
