more and more locals are struggling to be JUST LIKE all those ppl we see in the media.. the DOMINANT countries have successfully brain-washed all of you... you're so weak to resist that you surrender.. you dress like them, you walk like them, and heck your TRYING to be JUST LIKE these ppl who has NOTHING to do with our country at all! for what? make brunei known? because i still have lots to say, ive decided to type it out here instead..

when people talked about 'modernity' they think what? the global culture! everyone has to do the same thing everyone does, have to watch the same movies everyone watched, have to wear clothes according to trends and the list goes on and on...

HOWEVER

it is CLEAR that cultures are fading as we speak.. i admit, i fall into this trap as well.. in terms of speaking.. i speak english more *not better, than i speak malay.. i CANNOT speak malay all the way.. i have to insert english words into my sentences.. i struggle to find the MALAY words when speaking to elderly sometimes.. so yes, i cannot avoid it..

but this particular clip irritates me the most because... 'krumping'.. where does it come from? i dug the info on the net and here's what i found.. its most popular in Africa, in L.A and in Japan.. we are way way off the map here people~ besides the point.. its okay if you like to 'dance' like that, but its also important that you DO not move away from any bruneian element left in you... be original.. mix it up if you must~ create something new.. be creative.. you see a lot of movies doing many mix and stuffs.. its like, when i watched this clip... i see.. the term that is very popular and we all used it before 'WANNABE'...

im thinking, people like *as seen* are lost.. they DO NOT know their identity.. they looked at one.. and assumed that's it! you guys just fall and fall into this endless emptiness not knowing what to do with yourself..
